Melanie is an Australian softball pitcher. She was born on November 9, 1970. Today, she is 37 years old. She won the bronze medal in the summer Olympics of 1996 and 2000. In 2004, she won the silver medal. As a pitcher, Melanie never hit. She was the number one pitcher for the national team, therefore that was the only thing her coaches let her do. She started playing on the Olympic team when she was 17 years old. She was born in Bankstown, Sydney. Her goal is to get the gold medal in the Summer Olympics in Bejing, 2008.
